Driver Mode Switchable Tuning

Take full control of your truck’s power without reflashing every time you want to change power levels. VSE Driver Mode Switchable Tuning gives you three distinct power levels using the truck’s factory drive modes:

• Tow Mode – +30 HP: Reduced power for towing and heavy loads.

• Normal / Daily Drive – +80 HP: Strong, responsive power for everyday driving.

• Off-Road Mode – +190 HP: Maximum performance for drag racing, spirited driving, and off-road use.

When paired with VSE Transmission Tuning, each power level is matched to its corresponding transmission mode. Engine power and transmission behavior change together, eliminating the need for transmission relearns when switching between power levels.

Turn it down to tow. Turn it up for the street. Set it to max when it's time to play.

No switches or extra hardware. No reflashing between single-power tunes. Just select your factory drive mode and the truck instantly becomes the truck you need.

Single Tunes 

Standard power levels are:

+ 0HP ~ Stock power 

• Use for returning truck back to stock or extreme duty environments

+ 30HP Heavy Tow

• Designed for Max GVWR towing 
• Maximum capable exhaust braking in tow/haul
• Popular for trucks constantly on trailers and Hot Shot Truckers

+ 80HP Light Tow/Economy

• Designed for up to Max GVRW towing - optimized for loads under 20k lbs GVWR 
• Maximum capable exhaust braking in tow/haul
• Popular for trucks on and off trailers and daily drivers with no trailers
• Maximum fuel economy possible

+ 120HP Economy/Daily Driver

• Designed for daily driving unloaded or lightly loaded
• Maximum capable exhaust braking in tow/haul
• Popular for trucks lightly loaded and no trailers

+ 150HP Street

• More aggressive response than the 120HP tune
• Maximum capable exhaust braking in tow/haul
• Popular for maximum driving experience and responsiveness

+ 190HP Max Effort stock turbo/fuel system

• Designed to max the factory turbocharger out
• Designed for drag racing, especially when paired with our TCM tuning!
• Maximum acceleration and throttle response possible 
• Not designed for daily driving / towing

What the user will see as a result of our calibrations are:

•  Increased throttle responsiveness (reduced or eliminated dead pedal)
•  Increased torque in all power levels which allow TCM to command the next higher gear (fuel savings)
•  Increased fuel economy (average increase depends on driver habits)
•  Quicker transient response times to degraded air/fuel conditions
•  Enhanced and more conservative engine back downs from sustained high EGT conditions
•  Enhanced and more conservative timing control during high load conditions (towing)
•  Overall better drivability and end user experience
•  Speed limiter removal

!!This calibration package can only be installed using the HP Tuners MVPI3/4 + or our Private lable RTD 4 devices!! As such the end user MUST have either an unlocked/upgraded ECM and or TCM from HP tuners or from VSE directly and also MUST either purchase licensing credits for your MVPI3/4 + or our Private lable RTD 4 or already have them in their possession.
